The Eagle Stone is a well-weathered block of gritstone that is steeped in local folklore. Apparently, local men had to climb the stone to demonstrate their eligibility to marry. These days, it’s a popular bouldering spot with spectacular panoramic views.

A great spot for bouldering. We tried and failed to climb to the top - clearly not manly enough 😜 Keep an eye out for the Highland Cows as well!
