If you have the Zipfelpass, a visit to Grenzstzein 147 was a must for me.

We were able to enjoy the beautiful landscape in beautiful weather.

The boundary stone is not only the southernmost point in Germany, but also the border between Bavaria, Tyrol and Vorarlberg.

From Oberstdorf it is a very long way for a hike, you can borrow an e-bike from the Fellhorn Bahn and ride to the storage hut, park your bike there and then walk the rest of the way.

But if you want to "walk" the southernmost point of Germany, the best starting point is the Berggastzhof Einödsbach. The inn is also the southernmost village in Germany that is inhabited all year round ...

It is approx. 10 km from Einödsbach to the Grenzstein.
