One of Fürth's top tourist attractions! Picturesquely situated on the banks of the Rednitz River, it can easily be combined with the riverside promenade, the Waldmannsweiher pond, and the Wiesengrund meadow for a leisurely stroll close to the city center! There's a selfie spot on the Hardsteg footbridge, perfect for a photo with the row of houses in the background 📸. The Fürth Tourist Information Office has created a circular walking route with selfie spots throughout the city center – well worth exploring!

The so-called Kißkalt Houses are a row of four brick apartment buildings on the river promenade, with gables facing the Rednitz River. They are named after their builder, the prominent Fürth architect Georg Kißkalt. The group of buildings was erected in 1898/99 as workers' housing.
