The Livu Fields in Riga are an enchanting place that seduces at first glance with its colorful house facades and cozy cafes. Surrounded by well-kept flowerbeds and green areas, the square offers a charming atmosphere that practically invites you to take a moment to pause and observe. Especially when the weather is good, it is wonderful to sit outside, enjoy a coffee and watch the hustle and bustle around you.

However, you should be aware that Livu Fields is also a very touristy place. Many of the surrounding restaurants and cafes are aimed at visitors from all over the world, which gives the square a lively international atmosphere, but can sometimes take away a little of its authenticity. Nevertheless, a detour is worth it - especially because of the colorful architecture, which gives the square an almost playful backdrop. Here you can admire the old restored houses and discover the artistic details on the facades that are reminiscent of Riga's rich history.
