Riga City Canal

A belt with several parks and representative buildings formed along the canal. On the edge of the old town, it separates it from the new town and is considered the green oasis of Riga.
On hot summer days, numerous trees provide shade and electric wooden boats can be used to take you to the Daugava.
The paths are nicely laid out, with a bench every few meters inviting you to linger. There are several wifi hotspots here to lure young Latvians into nature.
At the Latvian National Theater there is a statue of the Russian national poet Alexander Sergeyevich Pushkin, the founder of modern Russian literature.
