Bike Touring Highlight
A shallow pond fed by the Krumbach. The lake has been a protected natural monument since the 1930s.
Depending on the water level, it is up to 140 m long and up to 40 m wide with a maximum area of 0.4 hectares. Its greatest depth is 1.8 m. Sometimes the water even falls completely dry.

The lake was created in earlier times as a cattle bath and used today it is a popular destination because the Weisenheimer hut right on the lake with plenty of outdoor seating for food and drinks provides. Caution is not open every day.
