The Trôs Marets valley, a tributary of the Warche, is a pretty, quiet and shaded valley, which makes it particularly pleasant on hot summer days. The Trôs Marets finds its source in the Fagne de Sotay and flows into the Warche near Bévercée. The path winds between huge blocks of sandstone and quartzite. Be careful, it can be very slippery in autumn and winter.

According to the latest information from Info Tourist Malmedy, work to restore the bridges is progressing well. The Trôs Marêts valley is expected to be accessible again from October.

A hike through this wild creek valley is simply fun. However, sturdy and well-profiled hiking shoes are essential.

Beautiful and adventurous section of the trail. However, a minimum of surefootedness and sensible footwear are strongly recommended.

Very nice walk through the valley along the river. It is a pity that many people leave their rubbish along the path.
