The Marienwand, together with its rock towers, has been one of the most popular climbing rocks in the wild and romantic Okertal for many decades. It is located about 200 meters below the dam of the compensation basin of the Oker dam. This optically very attractive granite formation rises about 50 meters above the river bed of the Oker.
