The spectacular cliffs form here at their highest point the summit of the Huthberg with 604,8m above sea level. N. N. The view towards Okertal is breathtaking, especially at sunset. If you look closely, you can see the "old man from the mountains" - a part of the kaesteklippen that resembles exactly the sunken face of an old man.

The visit of the "Old Man", as the Kästeklippe is also called, is almost an obligation on this wonderful tour. The Kästeklippe looks like an old man. The face is clearly visible. Eyes, nose and even the mouth are visible.
The view into the Okertal an unforgettable experience.
Just follow the path and signs from the "Kästehaus".

Children can climb extensively here, but they also have to be careful because the simple green railing does not exude much security. A little hidden there is even a nice bench up there, which stands in such a way that the legs inevitably only dangle ;-) Otherwise you will certainly find a place for a rest on all kinds of stones and rocks with a very nice view!
The alleged "old man's face" is getting on a lot now, but with imagination and with children it will work out ;-)
