A beautiful narrow path leads from the Okertal to the Great Arendsberg. From here you continue in the direction of Bad Harzburg or Halle Hall.

Great path without mountain bikers and less hustle and bustle than at the cliff

I recommend the path for the ascent to the Halleschen Hütte.

The steep mountain hiking trail quickly zigzags up to the Ahrendsberg cliffs. Real mountain hiking feeling.

Is a bit very difficult when wet.

In dry weather, easy to walk, somewhat overgrown steep climb. When it rains, you need to be sure-footed (not suitable for children in bad weather) and a bit of stamina due to the steep ascent. But it's worth it.

here you need good shoes and sure-footedness. But you will be rewarded with a fantastic view!!

Steep, demanding path that is simply fun.

Starts relatively harmless at the Romkerhalle but then gets more and more violent and in the upper third it's really exhausting.
