Hiking Highlight
A beautiful narrow path leads from the Okertal to the Great Arendsberg. From here you continue in the direction of Bad Harzburg or Halle Hall.

Great path without mountain bikers and less hustle and bustle than at the cliff

The steep mountain hiking trail quickly zigzags up to the Ahrendsberg cliffs. Real mountain hiking feeling.

Is a bit very difficult when wet.

In dry weather, easy to walk, somewhat overgrown steep climb. When it rains, you need to be sure-footed (not suitable for children in bad weather) and a bit of stamina due to the steep ascent. But it's worth it.

Steep but very nice ascent to the Hallische Hütte
Surefootedness is recommended because the path to the Tein is very narrow and rocky

Demanding climb up to the hut, it was fun, the strenuous ones are worthwhile for the view of the Okertal

Starts relatively harmless at the Romkerhalle but then gets more and more violent and in the upper third it's really exhausting.
