The Pritzwalk Museum has reopened since the renovation in 2018 and shows a permanent exhibition on the history of industrialization in rural areas. At the historical locations of the cloth factory and the brewery, life, work and the environment in the early 20th century are presented in a vivid and multi-faceted manner. In the historic printing and hand weaving mill, visitors can also get active themselves. The house's viewing platform offers a panoramic view of the city of Pritzwalk and the museum café offers cake and coffee.

With the construction of the cloth factory of the Draeger brothers in 1858, industrialization began in Pritzwalk. In 1878 Emil Quandt entered the cloth factory and took over this in 1896 as owner. As a supplier of uniforms, the company has grown rapidly, including through the two world wars. In 1945, the Quandt family was expropriated.
