The chapel is a two-storey rectangular building with 4/6 compartments that was built before 1500. Upper floor, formerly used as a fruit store, and gable protrude slightly. Saddle roof with later octagonal roof rider. Headbands on the gable, circumferential chest bars on the upper floor. Arch struts with noses converging in the parapet zones. Next to the Wendelinskapelle in Butzbach, Hesse's earliest half-timbered church. Inoperative since 1863 and used as storage, syringe house and chicken coop. Restored from impending decay 1961 to 1964 and returned to church use. Last renovation in 1997/98.
