Hiking Highlight
On the weekend in good weather quite crowded, but you still get a place outside to eat something hearty or sweet ...

Good food and cozy hospitality. Besides, just nice to look at. Also interesting here: The information from the viewpoint.

I have known this mill since 2001 and come here every now and then.
The hiking trail "41844 Wegberg Schwaam: SCHWALM BETWEEN MOLZMÜHLE AND LÜTTELFORST" has grown out of my manure.
Molzmühle / Oethusermühle
The four-wing brick courtyard from the 18th century was converted into an inn with a hotel.
The old bar from the mill wheel is still preserved. The mill wheel itself was restored in 2013 by the association.
The Oethusermühle was first mentioned in 1506, later it was also sometimes called the Prior Mill (1560).
It was the only church-owned mill in Wegberg. With the lease to Arnold
Molz received the name of the new operator in 1627 and kept it until the present day.
After the secularization, the Molzmühle was sold to the Molz family in 1802.

Delicious cakes and coffee or for strengthening something stronger. In the sun outside otherwise very cozy inside.

The Molzmühle is a beautiful, old building. Gastronomy is also offered outside. A nice place to start hikes or walks from here. We shy away from going there in a sporty dress

Very beautiful, recommendable and alternating in terms of landscape. Ideally suited for a spontaneous hike. We started at the Lüttleforst church and first hiked over the northern loop. A good decision in retrospect, as the southern loop is clearly nicer. In total it was about 13.5 km and a little over 3 hours.

Hopefully the cozy beer garden will open again in summer. There are currently offers to take away - but at very steep prices.
