Brigg Friederike von Papenburg

Papenburg is Germany's oldest and longest fen colony. and the northernmost city of the Emsland. Anyone interested in the development of the city can take a journey through the past in the Zeitspeicher.

As the northernmost point in the Emsland, Papenburg is the center of the northern Emsland and the old district of Aschendorf-Hümmling. In addition to the various attractions that can be found here at the bottom, it is also worth visiting the sights at the top and in Aschendorf. A visit to the Meyer shipyard should not be missed.
