Hiking

The large provost church is one of the most important church buildings in Rhenish architecture. As early as the early 9th century, a first church building was consecrated at the site, which has been repeatedly expanded and expanded over the centuries. At the church you can wonderfully read the architectural styles of the individual epochs.

The Propsteikirche is located directly on the Way of St. James and as a pilgrim you will receive a stamp for your passport in the rectory.

The provost church in the town of Kornelimünster, consecrated to Pope KORNELIUS, keeps three important cloth relics, which are shown to pilgrims during the shrine pilgrimages (every seven years):
* Jesus' apron (from washing his feet at the Last Supper)
* The burial cloth of Jesus
* The sudarium of Jesus

Hiking

Nice worth seeing town center of Kornelimünster. The Probstei Church, the church in the cemetery above Kornelimünster and the two squares with the surrounding half-timbered houses and the half-timbered houses on the Inde are worth a visit. The Probstei Church is centrally located in the small town.
