Passau Old Town

Passau is a cultural highlight with many sights. There are also countless bars and restaurants.

The old town is a district of the university town of Passau in the Bavarian administrative district of Lower Bavaria with 3,067 inhabitants (4,679 including secondary residences) (population register as of December 31, 2005). The old town represents the historical center of Passau.
The district extends from the tip of the town in the east to the Schanzlbrücke in the west. But it also includes a part to the left (north) of the Danube around the Oberhaus Fortress. The area, including the parts of the rivers, is 152.6 hectares.
