A nice spiky climb up and out of Tansley towards Lumsdale. Perks are that you can admire the Alpacas and 3 pigs, wiggly, piggley and smiggley that live at the Luxury dog hotel.
This climb always looks awful on the approach but over and done with before you know it! Once you get to the top the road surface changes from being smooth to quite dramatically to rougher with some loose and embedded rock. The descent on the other side is far better!
