When the church was built in Quern, the giant's wife, who lived on the island of Funen, saw this. The sight of the Christian church angered the pagan lady so much that she took her garter, put a huge stone in it and hurled it onto the church structure. The force of the litter was so great that the stone shattered on the way. Half of them ended up in the water at Dollerupholz. The other half flew past the church tower in Quern, so that it went wrong. The stone is called "Funen Stone" and is still there - and the tower is still crooked today.
