Tips
A large, free parking lot with an information board.There's always a bit of wind on the beach, sometimes more, which attracts kitesurfers and surfers.The beach is very rocky at this point. A little further west, there's a sandy beach.There are several picnic benches between the parking lot and the "Love Tunnel."Geocachers can also find quite a bit here.Dogs on leashes are welcome.

The landscape on the Gendarmenstieg becomes significantly more rugged near Kragesand, and the beach path is a tedious climb, climbing from rock to rock. Not for those with sore feet! But here you are at one with nature. There are few to no people.More details here...
