Hiking

The valley of Langballigau is one of the most scenic valleys on the Baltic coast. With its semi-natural slope forests, the wetlands and the meandering Langballigau direction Förde it provides a habitat for a unique flora and fauna. Here live numerous endangered species such as kingfisher, various species of amphibians, dragonflies, grasshoppers and butterfly species. The rare grass snake can also be found here. For this reason, it has been protected since 1990 with a size of 124 ha.
After approx. 5 km the forest opens and you reach the harbor Langballigau. Here you can rest well.
