The vicarage in Wiedensahl is in the immediate vicinity of the Wilhelm Busch monument, the St. Nikolai Church, which is well worth seeing and is over 700 years old, and the Sahl (village pond). In the upper rooms of the more than 400-year-old rectory farmhouse, the museum of the old rectory can be visited from Tuesday to Sunday from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.

The memorial stands in the center of Wiedensahl between St. Nikolai Church and the Old Vicarage. It was built in 1913, five years after Wilhelm Busch's death and after a nationwide collection of donations, according to plans by Prof. Karl Gundelach (Hanover). The bronze relief shows Busch smoking, with his favorite flower, the rose, in the background.
