Doolin shines with its special location right on the Atlantic Ocean and near the Burren. Doolin Pier, along with Galway and Rossaveal, is one of the main starting points for boat trips to the Aran Islands and along the Cliffs of Moher. Various providers offer up to twice daily trips from here towards Aran Islands or cruises. The connection to Inis Moir (the largest Aran Island) is the shortest from Doolin with a duration of about 1:15 hours. Before planning such a tour it is worth checking the weather ... it can be quite rough here on the Atlantic, so that a crossing can be very "wavy" ever.
