The site of the former castle is somewhat hidden in the forest and impossible to find without local knowledge, as there are no signposts pointing to the site. Unlike the Lower Castle, where some foundations can still be seen, unfortunately, nothing remains here except for a clearly visible moat. Nevertheless, the journey there is worthwhile, simply for its idyllic location.

The moat surrounding the former castle can still be seen very well. You can also find some hewn stones along the moat, which probably belonged to the old castle wall. The location of the castle itself is very flat.
