Tips
The view from Daniel is simply fantastic. You can see the Zugspitze directly. The view over the entire valley and the mountains is so impressive that you would rather stay at the top.

Excellent hike possibility easy reachable also by train (Ehrwald Zugspitzbahn) and not as packed with people as the Zugspitze. From the top you get a fantastic view on the whole valley.

The path from Ups to Daniel has easy climbing passages. Nothing for people with dizziness.

THE viewing box vis-a-vis the Zugspitze. Panoramic view in all directions. Tough ascent in 4 hours from Ehrwald.

The summit of Daniel offers a great view in all directions, but you have to earn it with a decent climb. If you are not sure-footed and have a head for heights, you should think twice before attempting the ascent. In addition, there is a little more space to linger here compared to the Ups next door.
