Today I went up the somewhat steeper variant, at the top then surprise lift out of service due to a breakdown ... well, then today for the first time over 1000m downhill in all tranquility it was also quite good, only I have sore muscles. Next week the closed season is over anyway, then she's hip for 3 months😎

Small round in the Isarwinkel, but actually with everything that goes with it:
Via Marienstein never too steep driveway to the non-managed Sigrizalm, sliding passage almost 200m to the summit of the Rechelkopf with a beautiful view, trail descent to the Schwaiger Alm, where you can buy an Augustiner or cyclist at the self-service fountain for a fee in the till before you take the forest path The summit and the descent to the Schwaigeralm are heavily frequented by hikers, but the short distance can also be pushed :)

I haven't done this "Wank Variation" for ages, but it was just right in the weather (from 1150m light snowfall), it leads through beautiful forest, which today seemed magical in the truest sense of the word. Only the unsigned junction You shouldn't miss a narrow path about 300m before the middle station junction in front of a fountain with a display board, leads you at the same height on the slope edge to the path to the Gschwandtnerbauer, briefly downhill and then follow the signs to Wank. It was nice and cold, change of clothes and whatever Warm things in the thermos bottle were worth gold on the long gondola ride down!

The paved Röhrlmoosstrasse, which climbs in a very relaxed manner, was ideally suited as a starting tour with the MTB.On the plateau under the Roßstein I enjoyed the mild autumn sun at the Röhrlmoosalm, before returning to the starting point on a partly coarse gravel path in the colorful autumn forest via Klaffenbach and Winkel Spot went. Large free parking lot opposite the shop.
