Hiking Highlight
The Loisach has its source at several springs in Biberwier. The cause was a huge rockfall about 4,000 years ago. Here, the water bubbles directly from the depths of the earth. The Loisachquellen are a popular destination for relaxing or hiking. In addition, they are often used for a refreshing Kneipp cure.
Due to the strong color of water and algae, the sources shine particularly shimmering and intense. Here you can always find a nice subject for holiday photos (Source: zugspitzarena.com/de/region/wasservielfalt/loisach)

Whether on foot or by bike, one of the most beautiful spots on the Fernpass route.

Loisachpuellen are highly recommended. Also a place to cool down on warm days....but be careful....please note that a beaver is now living here....observe the signs...
The path is to be extended to the lakes....Weissensee....Mittersee and Blindsee....about 15 km...depending on...where you start from.... A must for nature and mountain lovers

Great springs with great trails over hill and dale 😉

Very nice excursion destination and interesting hike from Blindsee; several benches at the edge of the way invite you to linger.

The path from Biberwier to the Loisach springs and on to Mittersee is very worthwhile and very easy to the Loisach springs (suitable for strollers).
