Hofheim Old Town

Pretty old town that would have almost fallen victim to modernization in the 70s if it hadn't been protested against. You can comfortably walk through them with their small alleys and the main street. Worth seeing: e.g. Old Town Hall, Church of St. Peter and Paul, old fortification section with "little tower" near Untertor, the city museum next to the winery building and the old "moated castle". Naturally, there are also numerous half-timbered houses, for example in the Langgasse/Stollbergstraße area.

The old town of Hofheim is a real gem. The partly historic building has been renovated in recent years with great attention to detail.
