Hiking Highlight
The nutrient-poor Krebssee is one of the cleanest lakes in northern Germany with a visibility of up to seven meters. A very beautiful piece of nature. When I'm in the area, I always like to stop by here.

The Krebssee is just one of several, beautiful, quiet lakes on and in the Hellbachtal. Great white herons are circling and looking for a quiet place to land.

The Hellbachtal with its wet meadows and orchid meadows is a tunnel valley washed out by meltwater through which the eponymous Hellbach flows. The nutrient-rich Lottsee offers endangered plant species a home in its silting zones. From the path that surrounds it, it can only be seen in a few places because the bank is overgrown.
Nevertheless, it is a very beautiful route through nature - we always like to come back here.

The Lottsee is the smallest of the lakes in Hellbachtal and is almost circular in its center, surrounded by reeds and the Hellbach, which almost completely surrounds it.

A wonderful atmosphere. There is a screed path. It's worth it for photographers!

the Hellbach meanders through its whole valley like a mischievous. Much to Hilde's joy, who was able to quench her thirst again and again.

On the western side, cycling with city bikes or similar is not recommended. Beautiful as a hiking trail.
