Location: Lehmrade, Herzogtum Lauenburg, Schleswig-Holstein, Germany
Nestled in lush flora and fauna lies the nutrient-poor, turquoise-blue Krebssee with its sparkling clear water. It has a visibility depth of up to 7 meters.
An idyllic view of nature invites you to linger. Many species of dragonflies with their glittering wings find their habitat here. With a lot of luck you can even spot a kingfisher.
You can reach the Krebssee via the path from Hellbachtal or if you leave Mölln towards Lehmrade on the Gudower Weg (L287). Opposite the campsite, take an asphalt forest path on the right to the “Tiefe Kuhlen” car park. From here we continue south (approx. 3.6 km).
Here you will find crystal clear water and a small sandy swimming area with 2 benches. The journey here is worth it and is a clear recommendation.

The idyllic Schwarzsee is a brown water lake with rare peat moss, sedge, and swamp calla in the peripheral areas. From the viewing platform you have fantastic views of the lake. An absolutely recommendable highlight.

There is something special about a bike tour through the untouched nature of the Hellbachtal. Here you can experience a piece of the Ice Age, as the Hellbachtal nature reserve is part of an Ice Age gully. From Mölln via Lehmrade to Gudow, numerous windings and a mosaic of species-rich fen meadows and grazed grassland open up. Three small lakes located in the valley represent a special feature of their origins. They are so-called “whirlpool holes”. From Gudow you go to the Güster leisure world and from there you can relax along the Elbe-Lübeck Canal back to Mölln.
