Today Isabella and I were on narrow romantic paths (with an unbelievable number of hikers), on wide forest paths, through narrow valleys, on open ridges with wonderful views. It is always amazing how beautiful our direct home is.
Please be careful and do not become black anglers in the Scheele fish pond (see photo of public warning)!

This area was completely unknown to us. To the approach path: Unfortunately, the ascent west of the fine wire road is problematic: The path "below" our blue line, which should initially run south and then west, is no longer available, at least in the area of the intersection with the wide forest path. We chose the path that climbs westwards, although it was a small detour. This path is overgrown by thorny scrub. Since we had Lucy with us, we had to
partially penetrate cross-country. The actually planned path actually comes out on the forest path above and to the west (arrow on our blue line). So it still exists. You may have to look for something again in the area of the intersection or walk the route in the opposite direction.
The tower itself is currently closed (probably due to the Corona crisis). An explanation was missing, but a general information sign nearby indicated that the tower was open to the public. That's why you should go there again. The view is worth it, as the pictures of other (later) places on the way show.
The descent to Alpestrasse is extremely steep from the point of the sharp left bend. In order to avoid it, it is better to choose the descent via the forest road (about 600 m beforehand), although you then have to walk more asphalt.
All in all, we were surprised at how much "area" there is still to be hiked up on the mountain: plenty of opportunities for "research hikes".

Isabella had to recover a little today. So I went alone to discover Luke's lap. It is a series of 6 individual caches, all of the exquisite Sirius type. No. 4 was currently deactivated due to incurred woodwork and could not be addressed. At number 6, the logbook was soaking wet. Here the owner has to do something.
The paths of the round were beautiful, the hiding places great.

Despite the beautiful southern slope, the north side of the valley was never very attractive because the paths were muddy and the view was nonexistent. An exceptionally good consequence of the storms and the beetles is that the forest was cleared on a large scale and thus released the view of Wiehlmünden.
