Kreuzberg has been close to the Mariendom since 1888. Here pilgrims have the opportunity to pray the Way of the Cross. The 14 stations show Jesus' path of suffering from condemnation to the crucifixion that leads to the resurrection. The path leads in serpentines through picturesque vegetation over the mountain slope. Under the 12th station, a life-size crucifixion scene see picture.
