With great attention to detail, a private garden has been created directly on the route. Not necessarily everyone's taste, but definitely worth seeing.

Long "sculpture" garden on the Nordbahntrasse at the former Loh train station by Martin Michels.

Here, many small and large objects, figures, containers, etc. (some would probably call them knick-knacks, trinkets, flea market stuff) are set up to be admired and admired. A lot of love and work has been invested here.

Especially during the flowering season, a welcome change and opportunity for many passers-by to take a break. A very welcome location for photographers too. :-)

Wuppertal-Loh station, known as Loher Bahnhof, is a historic station in Wuppertal. It is located on Rudolfstraße in the northwest of the Barmen district, which was an independent city at the time of its opening.

The Wuppertal Northern Railway was built by the Rhenish Railway Company (RhE) from 1873 as a rival line to the main line of the Bergisch-Märkische Railway Company (BME) and opened on September 15, 1879.

The station was called Unter-Barmen RhE until 1880 and was considered the main station in Barmen on the Rhenish route. In 1897 it was renamed Barmen-Loh, and after the cities of Barmen and Elberfeld merged to form Wuppertal it became Wuppertal-Loh.
