The bridge park was opened in 2006. Nature meets technology, idyll complemented by engineering, this is the best way to describe the situation under the world-famous Müngsten Bridge. The famous railway bridge that spans the Wupper valley is located in the center of the three major Berg cities of Remscheid, Solingen and Wuppertal. The landscape and the Wupper around the bridge are just as impressive as the filigree steel construction of the bridge arch.

This is how the bridge park became a tourist highlight with its own quality. Every year the park is visited by more than 300,000 visitors. A landscape set in scene, the experience of nature, a famous railway bridge, evidence of industrial history and the extremely lively Wupper together make up the fascination of the park.
