The Teguerguenche is a beautiful viewpoint over the Valle Gran Rey. It appears that people used to farm there. The fields are terraced. There is a great view over the sea to the neighboring island of El Hierro. What distinguishes it from the La Merica plateau on the western side of the Valle Gran Rey is that it is much more difficult to access.
There are relatively few hikers here and you sometimes have to guess where to find the trail. Everything is very wild.
