King Wilhelm of Württemberg once ordered a pound of seeds from America. However, he did not know that the seeds of the redwoods are smaller than those of native trees. It is always nice to see her. They are simply fascinating trees from a distant country.

Is the detour really worth it? Let's put it this way: yes. Who hears / reads mammoth trees, immediately thinks of the SUPER trees. If you have this in mind, it's not worth it. But if you only want to see great and big trees, then you do. Would I make this detour again? No.

3 sequoias about 150 years old. The seeds are all from a tree from Wilhelma. The oldest sequoia tree in the United States is around 3,500 years old.
