Steep steps, nestled on weathered rock walls, lead us up to where a Versper hut with barbecue area lures for a hearty snack. After further steps and along the rocks there are always wonderful views of the valley

The Hossinger ladder is the namesake of the eponymous eaves walk, from here the path goes to Gräbelesberg and then into the valley to Laufen, where a stop at the Traufganghütte Brunnental offers.

The Hossinger ladder was formerly an iron ladder that led vertically up the rock, today it is well developed with metal bars and stairs.

In old times the Hossinger had to actually go down a ladder when they had to go down to the valley.

Only 100 years ago, the only way from the Albdorf hamlet Hossingen to the valley municipality of Lautlingen, the shortest route to railways and workplaces, was via ladders.

Crunchy climb that has it all, especially if you already have a few km in your legs. But really great path that leads past the rocks before it goes shortly before the hut over the stairs / footbridges.

At the end of the tour, a detour to the Traufgang hut is worthwhile
