The Gramschatzer Wald telecommunication tower was built in 1972 on the occasion of the Summer Olympics in Munich. It is operated by Deutsche Funkturm GmbH (DFMG), a subsidiary of Deutsche Telekom AG. The tower stands in the middle of the Gramschatz forest near the towns of Hilpertshausen and Erbshausen-Sulzwiesen. There are currently no radio broadcasts.
