Starting point at the Schollbrunn game reserve, directly into the forest via partly forest paths and partly wet or mud biotopes. 😅
It was almost entirely along streams and valleys, the splashing is very idyllic by the way.But then I shortened it, listen to your body and he said unequivocally that a 1.2 km long climb with an average of 10% is simply not necessary today. 😂
Getting old sucks. 🤣In the end we observed at least some wild boars and deer. 😀

Completely unaccustomed to wearing sunglasses because of the sun. 😅From the Saupurzel parking lot south today into the vineyards and let your sunglasses do their job. 😎
Along part of the bird nature trail, then up and along the altitude. That was the right decision, you didn't notice the cold, the view was fantastic. A break in the sun wasn't even necessary anymore.
Outside the sun and between the fields it was fresh again, but didn't bother us.The last piece was again a bit tricky, steeply uphill, churned up ground and drawn by woodcutters.

Looked at from the balcony, 🌞 seen, so close outside and postponed longer tour.It goes without saying that the sun disappeared and was no longer visible when I got out of the car. 😅But 3 routes that have already been made are connected and from Winterhausen towards Mondweg, Gossmannsdorf quarry and then back via Panoramaweg and Sommerhausen.

Another corner of Wertheim.
Past old bunkers, over forest paths to the ridge above the Main.
And down and up again and again ...
In addition, a river crossing recht and a very exciting forest path at a former quarry, at least looks like it, back to civilization.

The epic master plan was actually to get some exercise comfortably and easily, because after yesterday it pinched a bit in the thigh.Smart people would put "high at the Frankenwarte" in a direct connection with "high".Not me, so I trudged up the Guggelesgraben. 😇
To make matters worse, there were cunning and malicious ice sheets camouflaged with snow. Eieiei. 😅What goes up has to go down at some point, old farmer wisdom ...
And insidious ice cream in connection with an 18% gradient are an exciting combination.
Sliding down on a backpack would have been faster and safer. 🤣The bottom line was that it was wise to leave the bike in the basement.

Walk a bit on history ...
Along a piece of the Limes and back to the Kaltenbach Gorge.
There is probably a path from Reinhardshausen to the gorge, which is certainly more beautiful, but is not shown on the map.
But it was also too lazy to go back completely and explore, the legs slowly became a bit heavy due to the snow and ice. 😅The former railway line is also exciting and interesting, it came unexpectedly and suddenly.

Take advantage of the last days of vacation for a little further away. The parking lot is pretty much right on the motorway, just through the town and uphill via adventurous but interesting paths. Not a soul was on the move, except at the exact moment when you want to mark a tree. 😅🙈The Trimburg itself is only open on Sundays and public holidays, a shame, but that's the way it is. After all, my last negative memory of the Trimburg was replaced by a new and pleasant one. 😀
