There is a beautiful old beech forest along the east side of the Tegeler Fließ. There is no forestry use and thus a very impressive natural area is becoming more and more established. Especially in combination with the wetlands of the Tegeler Fließ, you can wander through a fascinating landscape.

Currently (mid / end of April) the beeches are budding and the fresh green leaves show bright colors of various shades, especially in the sun.

In winter we had little of the green of the deciduous trees. The paths were still very nice. It was a very autumnal feeling in winter and we enjoyed it. The path is a bit boggy in places. But by and large it is good to walk.
