If you are standing in front of the little church in Lübars, you can hardly imagine being in Berlin. The tiny church, the small schoolhouse, the picturesque little houses - a village like a picture book.
You should definitely plan a break here in the Old Village Inn. If you step through the door you are suddenly in the Berlin of the 20s, so perfect is the furniture. At the tables with the white tablecloths there are delicious cakes and Berlin specialties.

Like everything else in Old Lübars, the village church looks like something from a time decades ago. One thinks that time has stopped. Since Old Lübars was one of the few "real" villages in West Berlin at the time of the Berlin Wall, they wanted to preserve the place as it was, in order to be able to show the life of the village to the students in West Berlin at the time. A visit is absolutely recommended.

I can only agree with Sebastian!
An area with a lot of charm!
Fresh fruit and vegetables are around the corner.
The church seems to have a lot to offer. Today was a children's party and the stud farms looked like there would be competitions. Other announcements included a Thanksgiving celebration, parent groups and much more.
Looks like a village with character!
