When you stand in front of the small church in Lübars, you can hardly imagine still being in Berlin. The tiny church, the small schoolhouse, the picturesque houses - a village like in a picture book.

Like everything else in Old Lübars, the village church looks like something from a time decades ago. One thinks that time has stopped. Since Old Lübars was one of the few "real" villages in West Berlin at the time of the Berlin Wall, they wanted to preserve the place as it was, in order to be able to show the life of the village to the students in West Berlin at the time. A visit is absolutely recommended.
