The Somborn Spring emerges from two rock crevices that feed two rivulets. From there, the spring water flows several meters in small cascades to valley until the water of both rivulets is collected in a wooden trough. From this channel, it flows in small waterfalls on several steps of stone, with other small waterfalls form. Below the stone steps, the water disappears in a piping that passes under the Rothaarsteig.
