Below the Hohe Hessel (743 meters) at the old Kasimirstal forester's lodge - a beautiful example of Wittgenstein half-timbered and slate architecture - the Heinz-Pott-Weg goes off to the right. It is named after the deceased hiker who originally awarded the Wittgenstein Panorama Trail.
The Wittgensteiner Panoramaweg leads through the Westerbachtal to the Wingeshausen Forest, where bison, who were once native to all of the Rothaar Mountains, have once again been living on an area of over 4,300 hectares since 2010.translated by
