The Alpenhaus was built in 1934 by the DAV Essen section. The opening times are Monday from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m., closed on Tuesdays and Wednesdays, and Thursday to Sunday from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. From 6 p.m. by appointment. There is also the possibility of staying overnight in the hut for up to 34 people. Further information can be found at alpenhaus.de.
