The footbridges are the trademark of the Venn. They enable you to cross the raised bog with dry feet and without unduly damaging nature. Be careful when it is wet and / or ice / snow, as they can be very slippery.

Unfortunately dogs are not allowed on the jetties and in the nature reserve.

The stands are vastly unusable or dismantled. The hike goes through tall and dense grass with many bumps. I thought it was dangerous.

A very sunny path along the peat and moorland. Very varied because also wooded sections are included in the route. On our hike we also saw a deer jumping through the moor meadow.

That is one of the reasons to go hiking in the High Fens. For me, there is nothing better than walking over wooden walkways through this quaint and special landscape.
