This Renaissance building has dominated the valley's landscape since 1627 and was built by General Peter Stein, the lord of the miners and miners in the Christophstal Valley, as a retirement home. It is one of the few remaining buildings to have survived the great city fires of 1632 and 1945, and the only stepped-gabled house in Freudenstadt. From the Bärenschlössle, there is a magnificent panoramic view up to Freudenstadt. Directly behind it is a red deer enclosure.
Today, the Bärenschlössle estate, with its event barn, is an ideal venue for weddings, birthdays, Christmas parties, corporate events, etc.
