History: On April 7, 1848 took place at this point, a sea-land battle. The Danish ships "Najaden" and "Hekla" were shot at by land with glowing cannonballs. The ships answered the fire. In this battle, the Hekla quartermaster, Niels T. Børgesen, was fatally hit and buried right on the German coast, and the Danish people set a memorial stone.translated by
