Please keep your dogs on a leash! Rare birds breed and rest everywhere in the nature reserve. We often don't see them, but they see us. Even if your four-legged friends are nice and certainly won't hurt anyone, they still scare birds. Please be considerate of our wonderful nature! Thank you!

Holnis is a peninsula in the Baltic Sea. There are e.g. Salt marshes, a Noor, the steep coast and of course a lot of sea. :) Seen in the countryside, this island stretching for 6 kilometers is a real highlight, and not only in summer. Especially in wind and storm it is worth a trip - especially for people who love to get in touch with the elements. Really, a tour over the island in stormy autumn / winter weather is priceless! :)

Baltic Sea water flows in under the small wooden bridge that spans the passage between Noor and the inner fjord, thus ensuring the preservation of this unique habitat.
