1427 Parish founded. The St. Ägidius chapel was converted into a parish church. Seven villages belonged to the parish: Stöckach, Unterlindelbach, Oberlindelbach, Etlaswind, Pettensiedel, Affalterbach, Frohnhof, plus the emigrant farms Schleinhof and Neubau.

In 1427 the Gothic choir room was added.

In 1527 the nave and, to some extent, the tower were built.

In 1707 the whole church was renovated; also in 1813.

In 1895 the spire superstructure was added.
