The Lillach has a lot to offer, not only the sinter terraces, but also a real spring. The spring water flows beautifully from under a stone and across the path. Fantastic playground for children and a picnic area for all weary hikers. However, don't expect to be alone here. This hiking trail is too well known.

Follow the path to Lillachquelle. Really nice to rest. Unfortunately only one table and in the summer always crowded. For kids barefoot or in rubber boots a fun.

The Lillach rises east of Weissenohe and south of the Dornberg (503 m) a karst spring that pours at least 24, averaging 50 and no more than 108 l / s. The water swells to 463 m above sea level. NN from a small cave in the upper Jurassic of the Franconian Alb. Catchment area are the directly east lying plateaus. The layer source is designated by the Bavarian State Office for the Environment as Geotope (474Q004) [3].
