Nice, quiet spot halfway up the Großer Ölberg. The way there is narrow and a bit overgrown, but an official trail. Anyone who is sure-footed and free from giddiness can walk on the exposed path to the top of the lookout point. But beware: the scrub is dense and grows even where a step would go into the void! Incidentally, Paul Dittmann was regional court president in Bonn and vice chairman of the beautification association for the Siebengebirge (VVS).
